ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

Introducing the DLSU Outdoor Club, a vibrant community where nature lovers come together to explore the great outdoors and embrace environmental stewardship. DLSU OC is dedicated to inspiring individuals to connect with nature while fostering a sense of responsibility for its preservation. Through a variety of exciting activities and educational opportunities, we aim to nurture personal growth, strengthen friendships, and empower our members to become advocates for the environment. We invite you to join us on this exhilarating journey of discovery and camaraderie as we work together to make a positive impact!

Mission

The mission of the organization can be summarized using the acronym N.A.T.U.R.E., which emphasizes nature conservation for the prolonged harmonious coexistence of all. It promotes activities that encourage member participation and personal growth, while also providing technical knowledge and skills for those interested in specializing in outdoor pursuits. The organization fosters unity, camaraderie, and fellowship among members, officers, alumni, and advisers. It seeks to raise awareness and responsibility for the world’s ecological condition, while also exposing members to the adventurous life, the peace nature offers, and the companionship of friends.

Vision

The DLSU Outdoor Club has primarily been organized to give outdoor enthusiasts an opportunity to discover themselves and their environment through communication with nature. The club believes that nature exists for the benefit of all living creatures, wherein the existence of each one complements the other, and for outdoor activities to become a widespread and popular interest among many. These outdoor enthusiasts should observe proper ethics, promote and practice wise environmental decisions, and support environmental programs. They should also be aware of important issues which include pollution management, recycling, proper waste management, reforestation, animal protection, and nature protection.
